  2.     Welcome to this preview of SpaceKids.  A lot of fun for your
  3.     kids... and you will get a kick out of it too!

  7.     SpaceKids is the story of a brother and sister who live on the
  8.     Moon with their grandfather. One day Grandpa leaves to explore
  9.     Earth. When he does not come back, the SpaceKids fly to Earth to
  10.     search for him. Along the way, they discover a strange and wonderful
  11.     world filled with fantastic characters.
  12.  
  13.     SpaceKids is an interactive cartoon where you help the kids find
  14.     their grandfather.  The story changes depending on your actions and
  15.     decisions.  Every time that you play, you will see something new.

  19.     Before you can use this preview you must first install it. Type
  20.     "install" then follow the instructions on the screen.

  25.         VGA display
  26.         Fast 386 or better.
  27.         SoundBlaster, Pro Audio or compatible sound card.
  28.         4 Meg. free space on your hard disk.

  32.     HOW TO PLAY:
  33.  
  34.     This preview is fully playable. When there are arrows
  35.     on the screen, you can use them to make things
  36.     happen.
  37.  
  38.     Keyboard:  Press the key on the keypad that matches
  39.                the arrow. For example, to use the up arrow,
  40.                press the 8 key on your keypad. To use the
  41.                down-and-right arrow, press the 3 key on your
  42.                keypad, and so on.
  43.  
  44.     Mouse:     Move the mouse until the arrow you want to
  45.                use is bigger than the rest and then click
  46.                the mouse button.
  47.  
  48.     Joystick:  Move the joystick in the direction of the
  49.                arrow that you want to use.  If the joystick
  50.                doesn't seem to be working right, center the
  51.                joystick and press "J".
  52.  
  53.     The small picture by the arrows shows what the arrows will
  54.     control. If you see a "?" by the arrows, it means that you
  55.     need to solve a special challenge before moving on.
  56.  
  57.     Press "S" to skip a scene.
  58.  
  59.     Hold "F" down to fast forward at double speed.
  60.  
  61.     Press the spacebar to pause the game. Press any key to
  62.     continue.

  64.     Press the Esc key to quit.
